Our workshops have helped students and faculty build essential skills like media training, storytelling, and pitching. Through hands-on sessions and expert feedback, we’ll help you communicate confidently and make a lasting impact.

Media Training 🎥🎙️

Media training equips individuals with the skills and confidence to effectively communicate their message to the public. It ensures that they can deliver their key points clearly, stay on message, and navigate challenging questions or situations while maintaining a professional image.

1:1 Media Training

Choose to meet with Director Jablonski, one of the Faculty Fellows, or two Student Ambassadors. Answer a series of questions that you do not know in advance while being filmed. Watch the film together with your media-training coach and make a plan for how to improve your on-camera presence and messaging. Email pgcei@bucknell.edu to schedule a session.

Group Media Training

To start, an expert will share tips on media readiness, with examples of great interviews and awkward fails. This fun session will teach you how to present yourself confidently, represent your university or group, and build your personal brand. Learn how to pitch, tell stories, and use TED-style delivery, while nailing timing, tone, energy, and response length to make a strong impression.

Master the Art of Storytelling🎙️

Stories have the power to inspire, connect, and drive change. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with your audience, whether you’re pitching an idea, presenting a project, or sharing your vision.

Storytelling Workshop

Work one-on-one with Director Jablonski, a Faculty Fellow, or two Student Ambassadors to practice and perfect your storytelling skills. Gain actionable insights on how to captivate your audience and leave a lasting impression.
