PGCEI is excited to host Fall Founders and Spring Sprints, weekly meetings through each semester that invite Bucknellian founders to share their stories. Students and alumni are welcome to attend to learn from experienced entrepreneurs and innovators.
PGCEI hosts three alumni each academic year – an Innovator-in-Residence, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and Arts/Nonprofit Leader-in-Residence – to serve as consultants. Through week-long engagement on campus, experts in residence support the mission of the center, leading by example and demonstrating commitment to our principles of inclusive excellence. They will also be invited to mentor and get involved with student entrepreneurial projects, making valuable contributions to the Bucknell network.
We are seeking visionary leaders and successful alumni to take part in this program. The role is designed for a battle-tested founder who is passionate about paying it forward to the next generation of innovators. You will bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world execution, providing the “scar tissue” insights that only come from building and scaling a venture. You will serve as a high-impact mentor, strategic advisor, and a vital pillar of the PGCEI ecosystem.
Interested in this role? Please email pgcei@bucknell.edu with a summary of your founder journey and how you hope to impact our students.
The Alumni Angels are invited to join calls with students who are pitching their venture and seeking feedback and, if they’re ready, capital. This group provides advice based on their experience vetting founders for potential investment.
Alumni are invited to mentor student founders working on their ventures independently or as part of an entrepreneurship course.
Email pgcei@bucknell.edu to have your business added to the directory.
Alumni are invited to have their items carried in the Campus Shop. Current alumni featured at the Shop are Brielle Cenci, with Brielle’s Shells, and Elizabeth Richer, with Bison Bow Ties.
PGCEI is creating a network to match Bucknellian business owners seeking an exit with aspiring entrepreneurs. Our goal is to connect young Bucknellians, who bring fresh leadership and innovation, with established, well-regarded companies. Owners open to seller-financing create a feasible pathway for young entrepreneurs to acquire and grow established enterprises. Interested in this opportunity? Email pgcei@bucknell.edu.
We invite our alumni to take an active role in shaping our community by proposing new affinity groups within the entrepreneurship and innovation space. Whether you are looking to connect with fellow founders in a specific industry, mentor emerging student entrepreneurs, or foster diverse professional networks, we welcome your leadership and ideas. If there is an E&I affinity group you are passionate about starting or joining, please reach out to us at pgcei@bucknell.edu to share your proposal and help us expand the reach of the Bucknell ecosystem.
